The tradition of cultivating these plants goes back to the fifth century AD and, since 1983, there have been regular chrysanthemum festivals, where people from all over the world can feast their eyes on their myriad color variations and composition
 
The installation comprises of five various perspectives on the chrysanthemum blossom, the largest of which is a full eight meters in diameter
